We had a blast in the Big Apple getting people *pumped* for the big 26.2 miler!!!
The party got started with our Big Apple Bus Crawl. We had a pink double-decker goodr bus drive around NYC for a couple of weeks this October to build the hype, then goodr CEO, Carl the Flamingo took over. Carl drove around Javits Center handing out free sunnies and greeting goodr fans, as every magnanimous sunglass mogul should.
He was joined by Olympic athlete, Alexi Pappas, and running comedian-influencer Laura Green, who took him for an EPIC sightseeing adventure of their favorite NYC landmarks while discussing all things running. (We're still waiting to find out if Carl had a drink with the Pizza Rat King at the busiest Olive Garden in the world...but we digress.)
To top that off, we hosted a Pre-Race Razzle Dazzle event where crystal artist to the stars, Kerin Rose Gold, taught goodr fans how to embellish their sunnies. These sparkling shenanigans also included rubbing elbows with Alexi and Carl.
All in all, it was good times and good vibes before the big race. (We can't be sure, but we swear the crystals made everyone run faster in their goodrs.)
